Debbie Boon was born in 1960 and after graduating from college in 1980 began her career as a graphic designer and illustrator.  It was throughout the nineties that she established herself as a painter in commercial and private spheres. Debbie specalises in her stunningly lifelike animal portraits and aims to capture and convey her personal experience of the subject through colour, light and texture. Working on canvas she uses heavy bodied acrylics and glazes in layers to create texture. Each edition of prints are limited to just 250 worlwide.
