Nigel Cooke

Nigel Cooke was born in Mirfield, in West Yorkshire and sold his first painting at only 14 years of age. And although he held a number of jobs including the Merchant Navy, he went on to join Butlins as their resident Caricaturist in 1992. He later went on to open Caricature concessions in a number of locations including Blackpool and Manchester. He has also worked as a character designer for the C.I.M. International and remains a member of the National Caricature Network in the U.S.A which he joined in 1996. Its this background in Caricature that has heavily influenced the way he paints his stunning City Scapes.
