Vidan was born in Perugia. After working as an illustrator for book covers for all the major publishers until early 2000's, Vidan began his full time fine art career. Vidan moved to the U.S. in 1988 to study under his uncle and mentor Italian Artist Pino. Vidan's painting style relies heavily on light and shadow,and his brushwork technique tries to convey the sensuality and the dreamlike quality of the feminine form ,the main focus of his work.
